Fashion Writer/Co-Ordinator:

We’re looking for a talented, passionate and organised individual to engage our audience in the world of fashion, whether it be the latest UK streetwear or the freshest new Catwalk releases from Milan. The role will include meeting with PR companies, running the fashion features/sectors on our site, writing features and reviews on the latest fashions, attending fashion events. You will also be required to take pictures, video and write in about everything you like in the fashion sector.

We would also expect you to take on pieces and writers from outside of our site and encourage them to be a part of the team. We want to to run our fashion sector of the site and be the first stop for the UK for all fashionable needs, this could mean getting in touch with PR members from brands like Nike or Versace? It will be a great experience for you to expand you name, engage an audience and learn new skills for your future.

Skills Needed: You must be willing to learn, hard working, passionate and be able to work independently and also as part of a team. Being a confident speaker is also imperative and being comfortable to engage others is also of high importance. Be willing to try new things, be willing to learn and most importantly be ready to get on a journey with us.

A Laptop is essential, skills in Microsoft Office programs, some Adobe Photoshop knowledge (not essential but would be nice), previous work with WordPress (would be highly valued).

Music Writer/Reviewer:

Were looking for an engaging, passionate and organised person to become a Music reviewer/Writer. This position would involve you writing track, album and show reviews on the latest music releases worldwide. You will also be asked to post regularly (3 times a day at least) on music news and relevant music sector information from events, releases and new music. This position is an integral part of the team with music being one of four main parts of the site. You would be in control with editorial control given to you regarding music. It will be a great experience for you to expand you name, engage an audience and learn new skills for your future.

A Laptop is essential, skills in Microsoft Office programs, some Adobe Photoshop knowledge (not essential but would be nice), previous work with WordPress (would be highly valued).

Skills Needed: Being able to work in a team or as an individual is essential, always striving to give the best is also important and great writing skills, organisation and an ability to learn are also just as essential. Accuracy to detail and the ability to take your own initiative is needed.

Art Writer:

TheBluMile is on the look out for the greatest art in our society, whether that be exhibitions, street art or painting we want it on our site. As an art writer you will in charge of what our readers look at in London and throughout the world, it’s your job to offer them the best art features, reviews and writings that will engage them and also gain new audiences. This position is very special to us and you will be part of a growing team that are all attempting to grow and become a larger platform for creativity. You must be engaging, passionate and take the initiative and have a great passion for art and writing about it. You will be asked to attend shows, galleries and exhibitions aswell as getting involved with the filming of new art features that you can take the lead on. It will be a great experience for you to expand you name, engage an audience and learn new skills for your future.

A Laptop is essential, skills in Microsoft Office programs, some Adobe Photoshop knowledge (not essential but would be nice), previous work with WordPress (would be highly valued).

Skills Needed: You must firstly have a passion for art and when we say we mean a wide variety of types. Writing skill is imperative and the ability t0 work alone or in a team is massively important. Always striving to offer you best work and accuracy to detail is also needed.
