After an amazing first week sales of his debut album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City hitting over 240,000 units placing the album at the #2 spot (Taylor Swift at #1 with 1.2 million). Kendrick took to Twitter to show his appreciation:

It’s always a blessing receiving new material from an artist after their album. Especially when there’s somewhat form of controversy surrounding it after the release, it’s exciting to see what they have to say. In this situation Kendrick addresses Shyne’s “Trash” comment on the album.

But at least my opinion just made everybody laugh.”
