Sony music have just revealed a piece of phenomenol artwork that stretches the length of their main offices. Featuring the names of the greatest artists ever to be on the rosters of the label. Created by graphic designer Alex Fowkes ’the sony music timeline’ celebrates 125 years of musical history
covering almost 150 square meters of wall space at their derry street headquarters. using just CNC cut vinyl as the sole medium, 54 columns measuring over 2 meters tall cover feature nearly 1000 of sony’s signed artists from 1887 to the present day.
Feautring the likes of Elvis, Billy Ocean all the way up to J.Cole and Matt Cardle; impressive stuff indeed. Check out the video above and the wide range of images of the project below!
