Hey guys, it’s been a while, right? Been super busy due to the 2012 Games and a few other things (buying sneaks, I ain’t fooling anyone!) Anyway, I’ve seen some cool things in my hiatus and as always, I’d thought I’d share.
I’m always reading stuff on other multimedia magazine websites and blogs to see what the OG’s and the competition are reading up on that I’m not and I’m not one to take credit for someone else’s research so if I find something interesting I’ll give props and send you to the author(s).
Long story short, I found this interesting piece on Complex Magazine (they always have something good to look at on the sneaker side of things) called “23 Things You May Not Know About Air Jordans”, which lists some interesting and previously unknown facts (to newbies and OG’s alike) about the world famous brand. For instance, who knew that Jordan was against wearing the Bred 1′s because he considered them the Devil’s colours? Or that he was an unproven rookie when he bagged his signature sneaker line deal? Or even that the 2′s were the only pair to be made in Italy? Some amazing facts for fans in that list.
Props to Brandon Edler and Russ Bengston at Complex for this article. Wanna find out more? You can click the highlighted link to be directed to the Complex article and learn a few things like I did. Enjoy!
