Lil Scrappy is back with a song about no love. The soft guitar riff, and soulful vocals from Tocarra takes one back to the early 2000’s when R&B and Hip Hop were one in the same. He’s recently started associating himself with 2 Chainz, who is very big in the Hip Hop industry at the moment. 2 Chainz featured on his song ‘Helicopter,’ which doesn’t have as many views as you would expect it to. The 28 year old has been around since 2003, having worked with Young Joc, Lil Jon, Three 6 Mafia and many other key players in the music industry.
Yet a lot of people don’t remember him, or know who he is because his career never took off the way it was supposed to. ‘Money In The Bank,’ and ‘Head Bussa’ were his top selling records back in the early 2000’s, but he never reached first place in the charts. He only ever managed to get into the top 30, which ended up taking a toll on his career. However the rapper continues to work hard on his music, and has just started releasing his new songs, after the airing of the new Reality TV show ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,’ which he’s apart of. So he’s getting the publicity he needs to reach a new audience that will help him to reconnect with his fans, and his newest song ‘No Love,’ is in symphonic limbo between the old and new Hip Hop.
