3OH!3 is one of the most annoying duo’s in the music industry. Their instrumentals are incredible, but their voices are so infuriating, that it distracts you from the one thing they are good at which is making music. They are obviously aware that they can’t sing, or otherwise they wouldn’t shove a massive layer of auto-tune on their voices to disguise their non-existent vocal range. Instead they should focus on what they are best at, which is producing and coming up with nice party anthem concepts. However they should refrain from ever, and I emphasize EVER… laying down their vocals on track, and instead finding real singers or rappers to do what they do best.
They should go on a David Guetta experience, where they produce loads of beats and assign different songs to top selling artists, and make a ridiculous amount of money while making it easier for more people to like their music. Most people would agree when I say, they thought 3OH!3 were going to be a one hit wonder with ‘Starstrukk, ’ and the main success for that song was due to Katy Perry. Then they got lucky with the cheesy garbage that was ‘My First Kiss,’ again due to the help of a featuring artist, Ke$ha. After that all their music started sounding very similar and unappealing to more people apart from teenagers. All 3OH!3 need to do to become more relevant again globally, is to stay in their lane, instead of venturing into a singing role they could never fulfill.
