The winners of last years X Factor Little Mix have finally released their debut single ‘Wings’. The long anticipated wait has finally arrived, and the outcome is a lot more positive than expected. The problem with X Factor contestants is that even if they win, it doesn’t guarantee the public will like them after the show is over. Most competition shows tend to only attract fans that support contestants for the fleeting duration of the show but once it’s over they are all forgotten. However since there was a new X Factor panel, full of well-established artists a part from Loui Walsh the talent was a lot better than all the previous years, and Little Mix were the underdog’s that rose to the occasion and surprised everyone.
Putting a girl band together, and the likelihood of all of them getting along is a very slim success rate. On the other hand with a lot of hard work Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwal made Little Mix more successful than anyone of us could imagine. Being signed to the Syco label has done wonders to their image, in a way that will help them reach teenagers outside of the UK. Little Mix are fun, likeable and talented young girls, with influential voices that deserve to be in the position they are in. Once you listen to ‘Wings,’ you will realize just how much of a right choice the UK made by picking them as their winners.
