A shooting at a midnight screening of the “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colarado, has left 14 people dead and up to 50 wounded.
As many of us know, the movie came out in theatres all around the world today and various cinemas allowed Friday midnight screenings. The Aurora shooting took place inside the movie theatre at the same moment in which a shooting scene occurred on screen. It is said by spectators that many of the victims thought it was a stunt put on by the cinema as a way of kicking off the Batman experience. It hasn’t been said which exact scene it was where the shooting began.
The alleged gunman Friday was seen with goggles, guns and a gas mask, authorities said; he also released tear gas in the theater at the time of the shooting. A suspect is in custody.
