When it comes to artistry and a video with a hidden message awaiting to be decoded, Lana Del Rey never fails to disappoint. Here’s the official visual for “National Anthem” off her debut mixed reviewed album Born To Die.
I definitely co-sign the two words stated in the description of the video, “DOPE CINEMA”. A great video and A$AP Rocky actually fits the visual very well playing the role as the President, which i’m more than certain shouldn’t be taken literally. I’m sure there’s a meaning behind the role and inclusion of a similar JFK assassination; like the love between the two was assassinated and they grew apart or something due to his race?
These are all questions i’d love to ask Lana if I was to ever get the chance to sit down with her.
