Kanye is not a man to shy away from being creative, his last album broke records and was the top rated album of the last 10 years; and now in a press release today the Louis Vuitton Don has announced that the upcoming GOOD music collaboration album will be entitled ‘Cruel Summer’, not only will the album be coming out (that’s good enough news) but accompanying the album will be a Short Film created by Kanye & his DONDA collective who will premiere the film Cruel Summer the movie at Cannes Film Festival in France and should be a direct reflection of Kanye’s creative thoughts while making the album.
In what is a 7 Screen experience (not entirely sure what this means, but it sounds cool) this is another example of Kanye’s continued passion for creating the best art he can. The film will feature Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), Aziz Ansari and a whole load of other familiar faces. Pretty exciting times, are you ready for a CRUEL SUMMER.
