It has been said that TCL will be reuniting and going on tour on the 10th anniversary of Left Eye’s Death. Both T-Boz & Chilli plan on bringing back the third member for the tour, which will be their first tour in nearly a decade.
A rep of the group has released information on the tour to TMZ and has stated
“So far, we’re told 5 major cities have already been booked — and even more are in the works.”
The plan to bring back Left Eye for the tour is simple! T-Boz & Chilli plan to have a projection of Left-Eye on stage like how Tupac Shakur was projected at the recent Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg performance at Coachella. They will have her projection on a large screen and her vocals added to the liver performance.
Left Eye was killed 10 years ago yesterday in a fatal car accident in Honduras and T-Boz and Chilli both spoke on topic.”
“The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it’s still something that hurts,” said T-Boz
“Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn’t ever going to change.” said Chilli
They are currently working with VH1 to create a show telling their story whilst working on a brand new album! During an interview with Essence, they dropped the news.
“We’ll have new music right after the movie drops,”
“We have everybody that was there with us from the beginning on board.”
