It seems a steady rise back to prominence for Missy Elliot as famed newcomer (and slight crush) Azealia Banks has announced via twitter that Missy is set to feature and possibly produce on the NY Mc’s new album due out in September. After storming Coachella last week (and tomorrow).

It’s an extremely exciting collaboration and any new Missy Elliot is good for us, Missy has also back in the studio working with longtime producer and friend Timbaland readying her first album since 2005′s The Cookbook.
