As you all may know, we love showcasing new talent for you guys to check out. We try our utmost to provide the best of new talent here at TheBluMile, so we bring forward to you today a rapper called Fore.
This is his latest project Going Back Is Not The Same As Staying which touches some great subject matters and his flow is combines the perfect delivery for each of the topics he touches. Fore produced a large percentage of the beats on the project also, having lived in four continents before the age of 18, you can definitely hear his cultural diversity through his music as he delivers different sounds through his productions.
“Going Back is Not the Same as Staying is an album about Distance. Distance from the people and places you love, and Distance from the life you feel you should be living.”
I enjoyed listening to the tape myself and the way Fore has organised his tracklist slightly reminds me of the way Childish Gambino arranged his on Camp. Opening with that slow, conscious track and then switching the mood on the third track, a great way to open a project.
The flow used by Fore does remind me of DreamVille rapper Omen however, he doesn’t seem to have the emphasis delivery Omen does. He’s still dope none the less.
