Vashite Kola Aka ‘Downtown’s Sweetheart’ is one talented lady, when she is not directing videos for artists such as Kid Cudi, Solange or Jadakiss she is hosting parties in Downtown New York (hence the title) or being creative through hervery own fashion label violette. Vashtie is one busy woman and in the last week we at the Blu Mile have also noticed hermove into designing sneakers with the Jordan Brand, Designing a new look for the Air Jordan II silhouette. Not only is this a big deal for everyone involved but also a big trendset for all the women out there as this is the first Jordan Shoe to ever be created by a Female! (I told you she was a big deal)
Interest in the sneaker has flown sky high and the anticipation for the release is beyond any expectation. Shout out to Vashtie for this amazing rendition of a classic, we at the BluMile always check what she is up to (yes all the way from London) and I hope this is just a sign of things to come from her.
